A clean and green campus is a place where environmental-friendly practices and education combine to promote sustainable and eco-friendly practices in the campus.The concept of clean and green campus offers an institution an opportunity to take a lead in redefining its environmental concern and developing new paradigms by creating sustainable solutions to the environmental and social needs of the inhabitants.For ideal educational institutional buildings, it is essential to put in place sustainable environmental management in terms of green cover, rainwater harvesting, water and energy conservation, solid and liquidwaste management, e-waste management, recycling and reuse of waste. 

Objectives 

1. To establish a clean campus of the university. 

2. To develop green cover on the university campus. 

3. To provide pollution-free air to the residents/inhabitants.  

4. To minimizethe waste generation.  

5. To minimize consumption of water and energy.  

6. To promote and adopt the environment-friendly activities.  

7. To promote the use of digital technology in order to reduce the consumption of natural resources such as paper, gas, water, energy etc. 

 The Clean and Green Campus Policy of Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture &Technology aims to promote sustainable practices, environmental stewardship and a healthy campus environment. This policy document outlines the principles, guidelines and best practices specific to the university, located in Kumarganj, Ayodhya(U.P.). By adopting this policy, we commit to minimizing our environmental footprint, conserving resources and fostering a culture of sustainability throughout our campus. 

Waste Management: 

Establish guidelines for waste reduction, recycling, and proper disposal of various waste streams specific to our campus.  Digitization in the offices, libraries etc. in an attempt to reduce the paper work and waste production.  

Implement a comprehensive waste management system including segregated waste bins, recycling centres and proper handling of hazardous materials.
